I'm Bob from Lakeland, Fl. This scroll saw thing started as a whim for me early last week, I was cruising Craig's list and found a scroll saw for $10.00, so I figured what the heck, I like tools and even if it doesn't work, it's only 10 bucks. I bought some box store blades, took it home, cleaned it up a little and was very surprised at how well it worked, very little vibration. So I started my education of scroll sawing and came upon Steve's blog, WOW what a find! Little did I know this little whim I had would turn into a new love, I can't stay away from the darned thing now, and with Steve's help my learning curve has been expedited to warp drive. I've already completed a few of Steve's pattern with what I consider good results even handicapped with inferior blades (Waiting on my Flying Dutchman's).
I want to thank Steve for making this new adventure so much easier and enjoyable and it also appears I have a new neighbor in Russ C, same neck of the woods.
