Here goes Gabby running off at the mouth again.
Back in the day the old hand cowboys would use the term dude to describe a new comer to the west and ranch life, (a neophyte) who had bought all new cowboy clothes and gear, trying to fit in. Quite often out of ignorance they would buy cheap flashy stuff. So the term all duded up was born and was also used when buying a new hat or fancy spurs. They would put on their Fancy Dud's for church on Sunday. So being called a Dude was NOT a term of indearment, but rather a put down. I had a hard time getting used to the young people useing it as they do today, as it had a totally different meaning to me. Still won't use it myself.
Mam or Miss or Mrs were terms of respect for a LADY! As opposed to a number of less respectfull terms for females of questionable morals and conduct. The term b!?$h which is the correct name for a female canine, became a descriptive term because of how they acted when they were receptive to breeding.
Being called a SOB was to question your parentage, as the father would be impossible to determine. If you have ever seen a female running around with a pack of dogs following her you get the analogy.
There is your civics lesson for the day.
Professor, Gabby LMAO
This has NOTHING to do with silhouette art. Sorry
