Striped Oval Bowl
« on: February 27, 2011, 07:55:11 am »
Made this oval bowl from Pine, Birch Plywood and Walnut, all scraps.
Unfortunately one of the rings rotated a little when I put it in the press and I did not notice. . . . still it looks interesting.   The finish is Tung Oil.  The bowl is about 7 1/2 long and 4 high

I've never tried bowl making, but after seeing your creations I really want to try it.

You were very nice, do not know what technique you use but have mastered very well, I've never tried to make a well for lack of necessary tools and expertise.
Thank you for showing them
