Wooden Gear Clock
« on: April 24, 2010, 01:21:32 pm »
This was my first try atcreating a wooden gear clock. I have about 200 hours into it. I finally got it to run. It runs a little fast, I have to put a longer pendulum on it to slow it down. I made all the parts from baltic birch plywood. It's hanging in my living room. I'll have to take a better picture of it. I plan on doing another one soon

Nice job. What pattern is that? I been wanting to do another clock for a while, I built the Thomas wall clock and it's keeping good time for about two years now. As to timing the clocks it is a challenge but with some tinkering I got mine to about a minute or two a day.
