Not as big as the first one last year but has all but destroyed Lytleton just north of Christ Church that has had most of the larger building leveled to the ground and the worst part is it happened around 1pm, so far the count is 65 deaths and huge amounts of injuries, there has been a great response from counties including the USA, thanks guys.
This about all I know at present

I'm fine, wrong island for me.
As Jimbo has stated, this one was smaller but more damaging, 65 dead so far 200 plus trapped and could be all night.

Oh $&#%, it is terrible to her that are 65 dead. God bless there families and give them strength. But it is good to hear that you both are fine. I wish you all the best.

Just saw it when I started up my pc. Had to come here to hear if you guys are ok. What a terrible thing to happen. Prayers are with the people of Christchurch.
