Thanks for the great pattern. My wife has a baby shower to go to this week.
I cut this out of 1/2" maple and used up a lot of blades. The blades I used were
18tpi double tooth and 16tpi double tooth. Could this have been cut with different blade numbers. Thanks.

Hey Wha, welcome to the forum! Most folks would of done that pattern in 1/8" or 1/4" Baltic birch plywood, However 1/2" maple is doable. I would use a Flying Dutchman UR 3 or 5, or an Olsen #2R or 5R skip tooth blade. I don't know what sizes you used, but the ones I recommended above would work nicely.
Feel free to post a picture of the completed project!

Thanks dgman next time I'll try it at 1/4". I did it at 1/2" because the wood I get is about 1" rough and to plane it to 1/4" I feel like I'm throwing half the board away. I'll have to get some of those blades at that size and try it.
The blades I used were Pegas blades Doubletooth #4 .012x.040x16TPI
and Pegas blades Doubletooth #2 .010x.033x18TPI .
Here is the finished project.
