Fish the refrigerator magnet
« on: February 17, 2011, 06:47:30 am »
Cut from a reduced pattern from an Intarsia book published by Fox Chapel Pub.  Wood is 3/8 clear pine.  Color is acrylic paint with staining and antique medium added to make it more translucent.  The finish is shellac.

I have that book.  I never thought of reducing them for other uses.  That came out great.

I love the idea of shrinking a project to make other types of projects. This fish is adorable! I wish I had one on my refrigerator.
