Nespresso capsule holder

Hey!

Does anyone of you have a pattern for a capsule holder for those Nespresso / Cafissimo / CaffItaly coffee capsules?

I'm thinking of such one, but couldn't come up with a good idea.

Hi Torsten, You could make a stack holder that holds about 10 and all you do is slide one out of the bottom, and if you scroll Coffee into the front you can see how many are left, something like this......Paul

Well thought of Paul.  Such a good and easy way to stack them.   I'm sure that kind on design could apply to other things in the kitchen.  I know it would work for the coffee pods for the machine I have.    Jim

I think I will adapt and make two for my daughter's Keurig ...One Decaf and one Real Coffee!

OR just make one with two holders on one base!

Nice pattern Paul! But I got no idea what is being talked about here! 

I know what coffee is but we don't drink it in our house. My in-laws have some stored here for when they want it when they are over. Otherwise nope.

I bought my wife a Tassimo for Christmas and she loves it. The t-disks come in there own dipenser when you buy them. Great idea though Paul.

Sorry, but I have to ruin the party...

It looks pretty simple - and I would sure have done it something like this. But it wont work.

The capsules are not cubes, not square at all. They are more like "balls with edges". They are round on the back and have a flat, round front. Check out the Nespresso link I posted. They wont stack proper and will block in the pipe.

I thought about something similar, with 2-4 "tracks" and a bit of space for a scroll saw pattern... but could not come on with a good solution. The tricky part is the capsule track - it needs to hold the capsule, let it slide down and must have a bottom ending, which allows to take a capsule out...

OK, that is one capsule holder. I think one is supposed to take the capsules from top off, so to slide them the track back up.

hmmm, I think I might try to build a prototype. Sometimes the practical way is simplest.

ok, did some more research - and I'm not the only one thinking about this:

Capsule holder @ woodnotes massive version with a simple approach on the bottom end - might be a solution.

simple capsule holder - the front of the capsules is visisble at this one (interesting for CaffItaly caps)

Ripple - storage a stylish one - just for horizontal presentation

I myself and I  tried yesterday a first one - the capsules fell out on the bottom. So I need to work a bit more on this. Drew new plans today.

It is still a good Plan you could always take the Coffee word off and put TEA on it the same way Coffee is done on it. I myself don't drink coffee but am thinking about makeing it for tea bags that are flat much like the Lipton tea bags...so for me it is still a great plan.
