Go to a cigar store, they always have tubes they're throwing away.

do you mean for putting flowers in?
I buy mine from walmart in the aisle with the fake flowers. The ones I get are like a buck or two. I have seen them at dollar stores as well, but that is more out of the way for me.

I keep a couple on hand, just in case I want to make a vase (i have a couple of patterns for them). I had one out on the kitchen counter after washing it (covered in sawdust from the shop). My husband saw it in the morning, and brought home flowers to put in it. Bonus!!!

I have also bought mine at Wal-Mart and the Dollar store. The cigar tubes are a great idea also.  :)

Do 'do-it-yourself' type plumbers count?

Have done toilets, installed bathtubs and showers, replaced stacks, installed kitchens and disposers, done rough-in in basements, etc.

MrsN, All I can say is we plumbers know how to pick our ladies! Considering our trade we have to try extra hard at that romance stuff. Pick and choose our moments. We tend to be quite rough around the edges.
