Love You Box
« on: January 10, 2011, 11:33:51 pm »
I know that Valentines day is over a month away yet .. but

The pattern is by Steve Good.  The wood is Cedar and I used Polymer clay for the flowers and the wording.

It looks great DW, Is it difficult doing the clay?

Mark,

It is real easy to use the polymer clay.. Steve did a video on using it a while back.  Basically you work it a bit untill it is soft then you pack it into the project.  Once you have it packed in you bake it at around 275 degrees F for aboutr 12 - 15 min.  Once it cools you sand it and finish it like you would the rest of your project.

That does sound easy DW, thanks, now I have to convince my wife that nothing will catch on fire.

As long as you keep the toaster oven at 275 degrees you will not catch it on fire.
