Do you cut them as rings and glue them together? These are so cool!

Hello everyone and Thank You. The original idea was to make wooden Tankards (beer mugs). I saw a picture once of a six sided beer mug made from wood. I am collecting scrap wood now to make some of these, but in the mean time, I figured I would work on my skills for cutting angles. I played around with dimensions for the shot glass, drew it out on paper, then just started cutting and sanding till I got them to fit together properly. I use Gorilla wood glue to hold them together and then I have been using clear water based Polycrylic finish. I plan on using resin to finish the Tankards. Resin is truly water proof. The marble wood I chose has a distinct grain to it. So I thought it would look good. I buy some wood pieces on Ebay. Look up knife blanks, you will find lots of pairs of really pretty woods.
Thanks again everybody
