well thank to Steve tutorial video on making the normal type of bowl, i just play around on the programme a bit one day and came up with these.

Dang, another case of the student taking the teacher to school. Those look really nice. I understand if you want to keep that pattern to yourself but if you are interested in sharing (I can see everyone here drooling for it.) let me know and I can post it on the blog. hi ljfrompa the bowls are 9" across the top ,the baseis 3 1/2" and it is 2 3/8" tall. i use 1/4" material .

oh wow...not that tall!  they look bigger...but i guess because of the 1/4" stock the many layers gives it the look of depth.  i like that look!
