First pattern using GIMP
« on: November 26, 2010, 03:12:45 pm »
Finally getting use to using GIMP.  I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out.  Havn't tried cutting it yet but still working on it.  If you like it feel free to adjust to suit your needs.  I'll post my future attempts to get your opinions/suggestions.  JJ (Sorry if the attch doesn't work will try again)

I started with a free clipart and made my pattern from there.  I also like to use the Rapid Resizer program to adjust my size when completed.  That program is really handy and worth it.

Well I made my cut and it turned out nice.  However I'll enlarge it next time first.  The letters are about 5/16" and thats a bit small for me.  I hate doing small letters.  The lines around the edge aren't really necessary either.  Next one will be better.
