Scrollers Drill

Has anyone used the Scrollers Drill sold by Seyco. I was looking at it on line and wondering how it performed. Looks nice and small

That is a lot of money for a machine that is dedicated to do one thing.  I prefer my dremel with the drill press attachment.  I can do so many things with it besides drill holes. It is portable as well.

I just purchased the smaller benchtop drill press from Harbor Freight, and it works great.  I also have a dremel type tool for bigger works if needed.

   Wig, that's what I have. It does everything that I need it to do. And it didn't cost an arm or a leg. Dave

I have a little drill press that was handed down to me from my dad. I think it is a harbor freight or similar brand, but it is almost as old as I am (the sticker on it says it was manufactured in 1986, i was born in 1984). I have never had a problem with not being able to drill in the middle of a piece, yet, and as far as I know that is the big selling point of the scrollers drill.

I use my dremel with the plunge router attachment.  That cost about $20.  I can set it anywhere to drill the holes.

Got a B&Q drill press years ago for about ?30, not a moment of troube will hold bit down to 1.5mm any smaller and I use a cheap version of the dremel.

I have a $ 35 drill press from parkside. cant put in any drill smaller than 1,5 mm
therefor I use the drillbitholder from FD Mike. works great.
sometimes I  use the dremel, but the drillpress is always square.

I also use the dremel with the plunge router attachment. I, like others, looked at various remedies to getting to interior holes on pieces and liked the cost factor going the dremel route.

Looks like no one has one. I know the price is high. Wife thought it would be a good gift for me from the kids.

i have one. its ok but i think it was overpriced. it works ok drilling in the center of stuff but your hand gets tired. i should have gone with Dremel or a portable stand for my electric drill. the
portable stand is fairly cheap

I think it is way to over priced. If I was given one I wouldn't turn it down, but I would not buy one.
