I send mine of on saturday, so it's on it's way I hope. Maybe hanging in a plane over the ocean somewhere, not telling which ocean though.

It's done.  Cut, sanded, dipped in oil, dried, waxed, packed and out in the mail.  Now back to the cut list.

Hmmm, mailed mine out yesterday, got home and realized that i put the wrong "handle" on it. Hehe, oh well, that should keep them guessing for a bit... ;D

AAAAHHHG!!!!!! #2 is broken to!!!!

after cutting and sanding I did some finishing with tung oil.
hanging it on a line to dry it fell of, 4 pieces.........

I looked at the design and add 2 extra spots.
I now ask myself if the yew wood is so fragile that it will break faster than lets say oak?
does anyone have experience with yew?

I will start with #3 but I think that I will take birch plywood. It has to travel all over the world so....

what do you all think?

finally done, my present is on the mail today.
the postoffice lady said 7 days for priority shipping it over see.
otherwise it would be 14 days so I used the priority stamps.

I thought in the first announcement from Russ he said the chat room should be open somewhere between 12 an 18 December, so it should be there on time.
