7 1/2 to 8 inches Julie and the wood is recycled rimu and pine, this is the first time I will be offering these and will be interesting to see how they sell if so

Jimbo what is the thickness.
I was thinking of doing some in Rimu, but the grain put me off.
Thought it might split to easily.
I made one bout two years back from MDF and it's still going strong.

20mm Merlin, the boards are laminated and are around 50mm wide this helps prevent warping and cracking, people wont buy MDF unless it is painted and I ain't painting them
