Hello from the Mountains of Southern California
« on: October 17, 2010, 07:54:33 pm »
Hello
my name is sandy I had been doing advanced fretwork Clocks and other woodworking for many years but because of illness had to stop 8 years ago. I sold my whole workshop lol stupid move. Hubby asked what I wanted after finally getting better and I told him I wanted my workshop back so he made my wish come true he just got me.

New dewalt 20 in scrollsaw
18inch sand-flee complete with chuck, mops, and all cottonbacked sandpaper I will ever need.
New 12inch drillpress
New spindle sander
Only thing I will need is A router and router table for my freehand table routing.

Many times thru illness we did not know if I would make it but guess what after many surgeries I am back doing what I love.

Guess you could call it my bucket list as I can hardly wait to start Fretwork clocks for all my grown Children.
I am so looking so forward to this forum and getting to know all you folks.

Sandy

I forgot to add that I have 4 grown Children and 13 Grandchildren. Hubby and I have been married for almost 40 years. Our faith is verry strong and is the reason I am doing so much better

Thanks Dan I have lived up here since 1987 but lived in Riverside in the Woodcrest area for a couple of years. I had to move up here it was so hot in Riverside. I will live on this Mountain forever I love it here. I just hate the wildfires started by others. This has been a good year as we got more rain.

Welcome from Texas.  So glad you are better.  Bless your hubby for understanding and replacing the shop.  Scrolling is my therapy.  I feel better after spending the day at the saw.  Looking forward to seeing some of your clocks.
