Thank you to everyone! 

Hey Mark (boxmaker):  I screwed in the ends into the sides and pluged them with some oak wood plugs.  I was going to do the sides into the ends, but the box is only about 4" tall so I didn't have alot of room for the screws going the other way.

Made a few adjustments for my own needs.

That looks really nice - you did a super job with it.  I agree that it is definitely going to be an heirloom.  Just Beautiful.
