I feel your pain Janet. I went to the Dermatologist this morning and had a few procedures done. Pain meds are wonderful. LOL  :D
Hope you are feeling better.  :)

Janet you should be resting, take it easy for a few days we'll still be here. It was good to here from you. Ok I was trying to put one of those  ASCII things that you use to say get well soon, I can't seem to figure them out. So here is my version LOL.

Hey, Janet - the worst is probably over now and it'll start feeling a little better every day.  Probably not as much better as you'd like but a little bit.

Take it easy and listen to Dr. Graybeard.  :)

If her surgery goes as mine did the worst day will be tomorrow and then downhill from there.
I had 8 "trigger finger" repairs over the period of 7 years so I have had my share of sore hands.
As I said once before at one time I had both hands done at the same time and really appreciated my 'ex'!

Still hurts. It's like a toothache on my hand.  I'm still going to work though. I figure it'll still hurt if I stay home so I might as well get paid.  The dr didn't give me any pain meds. He told me to take Tylenol which doesnt do much. It's ok though because alot of times those pain meds make me sick.

Thanks for thinking of me

Should have stayed home today!

Don't O.D. on Tylenol! It messes up your liver!

Jeepers!  You had surgery and didn't get pain meds?  What the heck?  Don't they know cutting holes in people HURTS?  Sheesh!

You're like me though - it'll hurt at home or at work so might as well go on in.  But that doc is just wrong.  When your hand is all better you need to give him a smack.

Get well Janet, Listen to Dr. GB Sounds like a lot of experience and knowledge there. (must be his age)  :)  I'm still young enough to mess up stuff (just turned 47) by not listening. I hear ya though GB!  ;D

I'm on the upswing... doing great!  Even though the dr said I could get it wet after the 1st 24 hours, I try to keep it dry with the exception of a washing in the morning and night... and the neosporin.

I haven't really taken much pain meds.  The Tylenol didn't really do much.  I took Ibuprofen once or twice but I find that it doesn't do much either so I just deal with it.

I just might cut something tomorrow.   ;D     Let me know if I missed anything... I don't have the time or patience to read all these unread threads.  I'll read a few and then click them all as read.  Lazy, ain't i?

Darn things are a P.I.T.A. to keep covered aren't they!

Just keep it clean and you should be fine.

You will know if you bump it I Gawrantee!
