Just scrolled a collapsible basket

I just finished scrolling a collapsable basket, need to get it sanded and put together still, but I really enjoyed it. Need to work on the table setting a bit, but for the first one it's not bad I think, will try and finish it of this week together with the other 2 bevel cuts I did earlier this week.

I've made a few, the first time I saw one I couldn't figure out how it was done, that's when I  decided to enter into scrollsawing, hard to believe wood will do that, I find the bevel is the most variable  part, I've had a few that didn't extend far enough can't wait to see yours (hint,hint)  Pete

There is a pretty acurate bevel chart in a book called Multi-Use Collapsible Basket Patterns by Rick and Karen Longabaugh.  It gives you the bevel based on 3/4" wood, shape and width.

Julief, i have that book, it is very good and have made several bowls from the patterns but was very disappointed in their finishing suggestions, they really gave no instructions at all!!
