Marble Lifting Machine

This is one of Steve Good's patterns. Made from Red Oak and Mahogany. I turned a small shallow bowl from Mahogany to hold the marbles when not in use.
This was made for the annual toy drive for our woodworkers club last year.

Looks great dgman. Was it difficult to make, I've been eyeing the pattern evry now and then and than changed my mind on making it.

Good work, those can be more difficult to make than you might think.
I made one of those several years ago and altho the grandkids like it, it gets more use from the parents of the grand kids!  :D :D

HOLY CRAP!! way to complicated for me.  WONDERFUL!! Could it be enlarged for say...golf balls?? what a great thing for a nursing home.

Thanks all! It was not difficult at all to make. The hardest part was aligning the cams to lift the the pistons in proper sequence. Instead of using Baltic Burch for the cams, I used Mahogany. It was alot of fun to make and ever one who saw it had to play with it!
