I just tried to order a potentiometer for my EX-21 from Seyco.

They have the part, ready to install.

They will not ship the part to Canada!

Yeah it is a pain.

Maybe one of the American friends here could reship via USPS.

I order clamps from Seyco before the border got closed and picked up in Buffallo.  Maybe next year.

Turns out they will ship to Canada, but you must order via email message or phone call.

This is to let them calculate shipping.  The website seems to only handle shipping to US addresses.

I used to buy for cheese knives in bulk for our club and shipping to a US address was $9.95 and $60 to Cdn address as they would only use FedEx and you never know what the brokerage was going to be.

I used to buy cheese cutters and they would only ship to US even thought you had to call with your Cdn credit card.

You never know as I deal at Mikesworkshop for blades and it is seamless.

It depends on the part:   I have an Excalibur {General International}
It developed a crack right after purchase in the lower arm.  That part was Oh so hard to find...and GI is in Canada!...Trouble right there.  It took a couple of months but General International sent me an email telling me I had to order through a distributor in the US..uggh...from there I finally found a company in Michigan I believe it was...that was willing to order the part.   I did get the part but it was like pulling teeth.   So Seyco does have some parts but if it is not what they offer..if you need an actual arm part or bearings etc you will have some problems getting them.  You have to start by emailing GI with your issue. They will get back to you.  Perhaps now it has changed. This was several months ago

The part, with shipping and exchange, came to just shy of $70.00CDN.

It has been ordered.  No expected delivery date, or tracking number, were provided, so all I can do is wait.

The challenge will be taking the saw apart.  I have not found anything on the internet about disassembling an Excalibur, either text or video or service manual.  The exploded drawings in the manual I have will help, but they break the drawings down in such a way that you can't see the relationship between the case and the control board.
