2 Slotted cross Ornaments

These are 2 out of the 8 Slotted Cross ornaments set from Shelia Landry's site. There about the size of a business card, and really fun to cut out. I use the left over corners and side from my crosses I cut out to make these, great use of those scraps..

Hey thanks, guys!  Those were actually designed by my partner Keith!  He has been doing designing with me for about a year or so now and he really has been an asset to the company, don't you think?    (His designs have a "K" in the item number)

It is great to have someone with so much talent helping out.  It gives me time to do my own stuff and I hope it shows as better quality all around.  I am glad you like them!  There are more fun things to come.

I love this set of crosses.  Easy to cut and stunning when finished.  I have several orders for the full set.  Finally going to try my hand at stack cutting on these.

Do you stack cut the two sides and then they just slide together?

(You can stack cut them, but the slots have to be in different places (one near the top and one near the bottom) in order for them to fit together)

The two pieces are in essence the same the only difference in the pieces is that one piece has the slot on the top and the other on the bottom so that they slide together and wind up even. 

If you want to stack cut them you can do so, but if you are only making one set, you will need to cut the crosses out first  and cut everything up to the slots and the tops where the hangers are on one piece and the slot is on the other piece (save them for last).  Then you need to separate them and replace the pattern and finish them off individually.  I know it sounds a bit tricky, and it is more picky than that, but it is possible.

The best thing for stack cutting is to make two or three sets at a time.
