I use a noise canceling blue tooth headset and listen to books from audible.

For me, It's about a 50 / 50 deal, depending on whatever.

I have a TV in my shop. It's on whenever I'm in the shop. If, as often happens, there is 'nothing on', I can always replay old ballgames or 'MASH' episodes.

Definitely. Fortunately, the scroll saw drowns out my singing.

I spend so much time in the shop that I decided to put the CD carousel out there. Now I have 200 CD's available by just dialing up the number....kind of like a juke box. Nothing like some Chopin while working!

I'd listen to music except that I'm almost deaf. So sad!

I am sorry you don't hear well.
I would suggest you get a good set of head phones attach them to your music source and turn the volume up. You may not "hear" the music, but maybe you could "feel" it.
