Hegner collected today

Collected my latest machine today a Hegner pollycut 3  ;D

It weighs a tone , I could only just lift the machine  :-\,

I could feel my back objecting  :o 82 lbs

Have run it just to make sure its all running as smoth as silk ( It Is ) may contact Hegner UK and as what need to be serviced before I put it into use

Polymax -3?  That is what I have.  Belt drive?

Only difference I see is the voltage of the motor and no hold-down.  I understand the hold-down is only installed on saws to be exported to the USA.  I have removed mine.

      Excellent saw.  Changing and connecting blades takes time to get used to.  I think it would be slow to do fretwork with.  A VERY durable saw!  I do all my inlay cutting with my Polymax-3 that I have used for hours, most every day since 2008.

My saw is dated 1984 34 years old an still going strong, the parts are available from Hegner  8)
