Steve published a video today reviewing and using a new lifter arm for the DeWalt saw.
It is $33.00 at Bear Woods plus shipping (mine would be $8.00 for a total of $41.00.)
It looks pretty good, but....

but.... I hear a rattle.... ?
I had the Jim Dandy on my DeWalt, when I had a DeWalt. I really liked it, you just lifted the arm, it stayed up until you pulled it down. I never had a problem with it:

$21.95 plus shipping.

And when I had a Dewalt I had this arm support and loved it:
