Just bought a WEN. Got it as a utility tool but immediately discovered this will be a full time endeavor... that's good. My grand daughter has voiced an interest also so she can make toys for my great grandson and gifts for others. Love having them around. My experience is very limited but I do have some experience in wood carving. Also like to cycle (a roadie), garden (certified master gardener), cook ethnic foods especially Thai and Vietnamese, do observational astronomy and take the occasional nap.
Steve's web site and YouTube videos have been a great boost to my learning curve. Still practicing all the cuts... taking a bit to get used to.
