Buying on Amazon through Steve's links..

How can I be sure when I click a link on Steve's blog that he will be getting credit for the purchase? 

For instance the micro drill bits he linked to today are not available, so if I find another one will he get the credit? 
Also what if I jump away from the product or even the site and come back - what happens then?

If you go to the site from a link on Steve's and you purchase something ( Applies to anything you purchase ) then Steve will get the credit. Once you leave the site his association ends and he will get nothing unless of course you return to it via one of his links.
