Hi: Dave here. I'm new to scroll saw work. I just joined and am looking to connect with members making simple wooden toys.

Welcome Dave. There are several here that make simple wooden toys and Steve has made several patterns that he has kindly made available on his blog. Looking forward to seeing your work.

I make simple wooden toys using my scroll saw. Just today I delivered 250 of them to our local children's hospitals. Most made of pine but some made of poplar.

I just did an image search on the internet and found a line drawing and used it.. I have since made this horse using non movable legs. The photo in my first post is of one with movable legs.

Hi Dave and welcome to the forum. I'm Julie from Texas. Rubberband guns are always a good bet. There are several free patterns out there.

Glad you joined. Toys are fun. Recently I have been making little puzzles. They are going to my grandson. This is not what I normally cut, but glad I gave it a try. Very relaxing. I do it to rest from more complex projects. I got my patterns from this guy.

Here are the three I have completed so far.
