Go Paperless ???

My bank statement every month comes with an extra piece of paper in it asking me to "go paperless".  How dumb is that?

When I was in the Air Force (in the '60s) we got a "Pass-On" requesting ideas for saving paper work. We were suppose to submit our ideas in six copys.......??

Well back in the 90's CNO Boorda wanted a paperless Navy.  Well we waste more paper nowadays with computers than we ever did with typewriters.  Think about it, you make a mistake on a typewriter written report you use whiteout or someother cover-up and retype the correct thing.  On a computer you print it out and see an error you throw away the paper and reprint it again to find another mistake.

Hey chief... I think you are supposed to check for errors BEFORE you print it out.   

I bring tons of paper home from work.  They stack up stuff that's been printed and you're supposed to use it for scrap.  I bring it home and print my stuff on the blank side.  I don't do it to be green though... I do it cuz I'm cheap!

Hey Janet, hate to tell ya but your link doesn't work on my end. I only have two bills that are paper, the rest I receive by e-mail. We do recycle at my house. One of the ways is if anyone prints something wrong or that can't be used, we put it in a basket and make notepads. We collect all aluminum and sell it.

You could go paperless on your backside if you had a beday.  Just dont drink from the beday.
