Prayer request
« on: May 27, 2016, 07:54:27 pm »
Hi guys and gals, I have not been on here in a long time, but I know the kind of family you are. It's been a stressful time for us. Three weeks ago my wife was diagnosed with stomach cancer, today she had 70-80%of her stomach removed. The Dr said the surgery went as planned. She will start kymo or radiation just as soon as the surgery is healed. Please I ask that you add Mary's name to your prayer lists. We have lots of faith and firmly believe in the power of prayer. Let's send up prayers from all corners of the world to destroy this cancer that has invaded her body and for a complete and speedy recovery. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and prayers, Clyde

Prayers really do work.  A happy positive attitude can also really add to the healing.  I know, I have been through cancer 4 times.  It just isn't the big scary bugga-bug it used to be. Hang in there, hold each other tight and know there are lots of prayers being said for the both of you.  Keep us posted.

Thanks folks it is so good knowing that others care enough to take a few minutes to remember those in need. Mary came through the surgery and the hospital stay and is now at home. Your prayers are much appreciated so Keep the prayers coming as we have to meet with the doctor on Monday coming to get a follow up. Clyde

UPDATE, Mary has recovered from the surgery. They took 80% of her stomach. This has led to a major change of diet and eating schedules. She still gets nausiated. and throws up a lot of bile. Has anyone had experience in this dept as we don't know what to expect from this yet. She has a meeting with her cancer team tomorrow. I guess we will know more then. Please keep her in your prayers.Clyde

Hey Mary!! Remember there are better times coming.  Hope you are on the mend but it does take a while. Try to relax, think happy thoughts and watch comedy movies. Oh yeah, and talk to God once in a while.  He really does listen.
Happy thought for you from North Dakota.

Hi folks, it's been along time since I checked in. It's been a roller coaster of a summer. But I have good news👏Mary is making marvellous progress, prayers work, don't doubt it🙏🏻. At the time she was too sick for chemo treatments and radiation was not an option. Byopsys takes about 3 weeks ago all came back negative👍. She is not nausiated any more and she it retaining her food. A CT scan is scheduled next week, pray for a good one. Thanks for your support, Clyde
