Basket weave guitar box
« on: July 23, 2010, 10:35:09 pm »
This is one of Steve Good's pattern. For my son to keep his guitar picks in.
Cut from Red Oak and Mahogany. Soaked in linseed oil/mineral spirits mix, Then top coat with Spray semi gloss lacquer.

Nice job.  Those basket weave edges look difficult but the mahogany just looks plain gorgeous!

Looks absolutely great. Like the way the woodcolors complement one another. Your son must be very happy.
