Dewalt 788
« on: December 07, 2015, 07:12:57 pm »
New to this forum, so here go. I am wondering if anybody has problems with loosening and tightening of the knob on a Dewalt 788 to hold the blade? My hands are so big and the space is so small that on bottom knob it takes forever to tighten is there a lever type that I could swap out for the plastic wing nut? Thanks

The top picture is what I use for the bottom blade holder.  A piece of conduit with slots cut in one end.  I used PVC at first but kept breaking it.
The bottom picture is what I use on the top
