This is a Jeff Zaffino pattern I found last year.  I stack cut two 1/8" oak ply, cut with 3/0 FD spiral blades.  Finish is BLO-Mineral Spirits mixed 50 x50.  In an 11 X 14" frame.

Very nicely done Jim.  You definitely have a ton more patience than I do.  I love those patterns when cut but hate to cut them hehe.  Thanks for sharing this wonderfully done cutting with us.

Absolutely beautiful Jim.  I agree with DW on the patience thing! 

Since you stack cut 2 do you wish you had done 3 or 4 instead?  At 1/8" you wouldn't have slowed down the process too much.

Very nice job Jim. I am a fan of Jeff's patterns. Sad to see he had to leave Scroller and his patterns disappeared as well. I cut the big Cheetah in 2009 and it received a 3rd place in our local fair that year. I also use 1/8" material and stack cut 4 - 5 pieces. Always good to have something left over if you are lucky enough to sell one or two. Jeff also made a 2 cheetah pattern which turned out to be a great cutting as well. Again, congrats on a great looking piece.

WoW! That's a lot of drilling and cutting. I wouldn't know where to start on that one. To many fine cuts. Great job on that .

That is some mighty fine cutting, and to think you stack cut it. Amazing. I would fear stack cutting something with that many holes....one slip of the wood and it is gone. Very nice job. Thanks for sharing.

Great work Jim. The detail in the picture is fantastic.

If you wore out your drill press, you might need to buy a bag of holes from your local hardware shop. I believe they come in all sizes. lol
