For my sisters
« on: June 29, 2015, 09:00:06 pm »
My younger sister is into oriental decor and the other sister is a quilter.  The John Nelson Japanese Mantle Clock is for the younger and I finally found a pattern I think my other sister will like.  Quilting and scrolling are a hard mix.  I think this Sue Mey Quilted cross is acceptable and had the help of a professional quilter so I couldn't muck it up to much.  Thanks for looking. Brian

Brian both are excellently done.  I can not see why either would not like theirs.  Thanks for sharing these with us.

Certainly not as nice as your fret work but my spouse is a quilter and I have done the following for her to give at quilt retreats as door prizes or whatever.  Some others are "Quilters Rock", "Quilting Forever, Housework Whenever", and "Quilting or Cooking?, You Can't Be Serious".  Just some ideas if they are useful to you.  Quilters may be even more passionate and obsessive about their pass time than scrollers.
