« on: July 20, 2010, 01:30:38 pm »
Hey guys,

Any lovebird patterns out there?

Our 8 yr old just got one as a pet, I thought it would make a nice project for us.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

David

Hey Grampa, thanks a bunch!

That's very kind of you.

My son and I are delighted, I'll post a pic when it's completed.

Will be sure to post once completed.

The bird's name? Ah?our son decided on...?Romeo.?

Okay, not my first pick, but ask an 8 year old and that?s what ya get.

It works like this:

Lovebird=Love=Romance=Romeo

Alright then?

I think that's a cool name.  When we got our beagle 10 years ago, my youngest daugther was 2.  She wanted to name her Big Cake.  So, it could be worse.  (We named her Hershey.)

Lovely looking bird. Like the color, you only get the green ones in the petshops here, never seen a blue one. The name is not that bad as Janet says it could be worse. I had a cockatoo when my nephew was about 5 and I had no choose put to call him George White. According to him the bird needed a name and surname as that's how it is done. I tried a different name, but my nephew kept calling him George White and he would only respond to that name.
Looking forward to the picture.
