A commisioned portrait
« on: April 17, 2015, 05:32:46 pm »
Cutting is 1/8" BB 8"x10", Frame is Phillipinian (sp?) Mahogany (Mahogany from the Phillipean's...lol) with a Poplar inlay.

Finish-Sprayed with four coats of lacquer, rubbed only the last coat with a paper bag, and since a light color wood was used, I did not use oil.

The couple is engaged to be married, this is a wedding gift.

I converted the picture to a pattern using, Gimp and Inkscpe.

Hope you like it

Bob

Great job Bob. The added touch you added with the scroll work really added to it.
