Hello from Australia
« on: February 21, 2015, 10:17:07 pm »
I have an old Delta scroll saw, which I purchased new about 15 years ago, I used to use it for antique restoration, I am now looking at trying my hand at coin cutting, maybe I need a better saw but I will give the old one a try first.  :)

Hey Waxman and welcome to the forum.  I'm Julie from Texas.  Glad to have you.  It is not about the saw.  I have seen the most amazing stuff come off the worst saws.  It is more about the blades.  There are a few coin cutters here that are simply amazing.  Give it a try.

Welcome Waxman.  I'm Al from Tennessee and glad to have you aboard.  I have never cut coins but I see no reason why you can't do it with your delta.  Give it a try and let us know how it turns out.

G'day Mate,

Currently in the process to move to Tassie, for the better weather and hopefully better for my medical condition. Nice to see Aussie on forums, although at this stage due to finical constraints I am technically a fretworker, can't afford a $200.00 scroll saw on a pension of 300 per week.

Kind Regards,
Scott
