Just getting started
« on: February 01, 2015, 10:56:34 pm »
Well...not really just getting started. Had a scroll saw for a while, just now getting serious about it as a hobby. Made a few things in the past that turned out ok, but could have been better. I recently rekindled my interest in the scroll saw as a stress reliever. My job as a paramedic has away of causing stress. I have had a few hobbies, but never had one that gave me the feeling of a job well done as this one. I claim to know nothing and I am ready to learn.
This post by the scroll sawing paramedic is brought to you by sleep deprivation. Do you suffer from 8 hours of sleep a night? Now there is a product to help! Ask your doctor is sleep deprivation is right for you!

Hi, welcome to the forum.  I'm Marg from Australia.  I have seen how ambulance drivers are treated and I would not have your job for any money.  You do a great job and it must be very rewarding in lots of ways so I guess its like any job good v bad.  If you have any scrolling questions just ask and someone will supply you with an answer.  Happy scrolling.

Hey there and welcome to the forum.
Yes you do have a very stressful job. I can relate to it for sure.  You will find this very rewarding hobby.
As you will soon find out, you can get lost in scroll sawing.  Very relaxing.

Enjoy and welcome for the Blue Ridge Mts of VA

Never complain about getting old. A lot of people are denied that privilege.
