I have started to scrolling less than a year ago and would like to show you my recycled scroll saw.
1. I bought my Craftsman saw at a local garage sale for $45.00 it was made in 1998/99 I think made in USA
it was like brand new.
2. I mounted it on 3.5 inch block of wood covered with 1/8 inch thick spongy wet suit material,
then installed in the block a vacuum connector.
3. I then placed the block on a recycled stainless steel Hospital cart that the wheels were worn out, and
replaced them with only 3 new casters.(making it more stable)
4. The air hose was brittle and busted so I added a aquarium pump and flex connector.
5. I also added a flexible light with a on a piece of aluminum angle.
6. Then installed in the block a vacuum connector.
7. Then to top it all off I made 2 drawers and side panels.
Everything except the v-pump & flex lite are all recycled parts.
