I did the eagle out of oak also. Makes you ho;d your breath at times when cutting.
Will have to try the butterfly.  Yours turned out very nice.

That was my 2nd try at the eagle.  The first had some issues, but my grandkids grabbed it anyway.  The butterfly is cherry which is really nice to work with - cuts well and looks nice.
