Surgeries

Sorry about not posting anything in the past several months. I?ve had a couple of Cornea transplants. The first one was November, last year and the second eye was done a couple weeks ago. The first one turned out excellent and the second one is progressing good as far as I can tell. I have an appointment Monday and will find out then if it all attached. I?ll get back to scrolling again in about another month, I hope.
In between surgeries I was kept busy filling a few Man-Caves. I made seven Intarsias for the first person and when a friend of his saw them he had to have four for his wall and then another friend of theirs ordered two. All of them were Intarsias of sporting and school related themes that I couldn?t post here on this forum.
As soom as I?m able, I have one sign to make for a church and then I?ll get back to making Intarsias I can post. Looking forward to it.

Glad the surgeries all went ok, won't be long before you're back in full swing and making loads of sawdust.

Good to hear you are on the mend, I hope you get the results you hoped for.
As far as showing your work, if I'm not mistaken, there would be nothing wrong with showing your completed works, just don't show the patterns.

I wondered where you had gotten to. Glad all went well with the surgeries. You just be careful with that fine dust floating around we don't want anything happening to your eyes now. Do we?

Wonderful news, Al...
I had the cataract surgeries a year ago & know well the frustration of not being able to get near dust.
Glad the eyes are OK and wish you well!

Thanks everyone. I just returned from my checkup and everything is progressing fine. My right eye is actually healing faster than my left one did and I had a cataract removed on it, right eye, as well as the cornea transplant, so I'm very pleased. Doctor said to hold of a few more weeks before I start sanding again.
