New Community Forum
« on: May 16, 2014, 01:30:31 am »
It's pretty obvious there have been some changes to the forum. I did the upgrade from version 1.6.19 to 2.0.7 tonight. I think you will find the changes pretty easy to deal with. It looks different but works much like the old version. I'll be making tweaks for the next few days so be prepared for minor changes. The old version was just too buggy to continue to try to support. If you have questions just drop me an email and I'll try to answer them as best I can. A lot of the new software is still new to me also but I'll try to come up to speed asap.

I didn't notice a thing!

Then I had my coffee! ;)

Wow! It looks nice!  Thanks for the forum here Steve.  I really love seeing what everyone is up to, even if I don't always have time to post.

Have a great weekend! :D

Very nice Steve!  I like the larger avatars especially.  As always, thanks for all you do.

Change is good for the most part but, it is sometimes hard for people to accept it so, be prepared for the "Aginers".

Holy Crap.....This is fantastic!!!
Sure I was used to the old but even at my age I am adaptable.

And Steve once again shows he is up to date and looking out for all our interests.
Bet it took more than a few minutes to do this amazing update!!!
Now Steve you have permission to take a night off and get some rest!

Thanks guys' good to hear you all like the new look. I like the larger avatars also but they are getting blurred when they are up sized. I'm going to look tonight and see if that can be corrected.

WOW Steve, the new look is fantastic, I like it very much. How do you find the time to do everything plus work a full time job? Do you ever get any sleep? I want to personally thank you for the great daily patterns and all you do to keep this site interesting, A shout out to Russ as well for his work on the forum.

Campasano, time is the one thing I wish I had more of. There are so many things I would like to do on the blog if there were more time. I pretty much do things in marathon sessions late into the night. Let me put it this way. 6:30am came very early this morning after getting the new forum up around 3am. :)

Luckily most nights don't require that much effort. The reason I did that last night is because the forum was on its last leg. It was going to crash at any moment so I just did not want to wait. This version should make it more stable.
