new lease on life
« on: April 13, 2014, 10:09:08 am »
Well, on Wednesday the 16th the heart doctor is going to install a pace maker  in this old body. after almost two years of feeling lousy and  tired and dizzy, they have enough documentation for Medicare to do it. they put a monitor in side me and my heart beats in the mid 30's about 54% of the time--everyone tells me I'll feel a lot better. I hope so. So , I'll talk with you Guys and Gals when it's done.  Richard aka thumbs    P.S  say a little prayer for me and the doctor   ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hi Richard, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers this week especially, and please keep us updated when you can.  :) I had a friend of mine who had one installed and he felt fantastic afterward.  :)  :)  :)

Richard, my prayers are with you and your doctor, hopefully you will start feeling better and stronger after the surgery. Remember to take it slow and allow your body to recharge.

Hello Richard,
sounds great, but also a bit scary, on the other hand, the prospect of feeling so much better afterwards must be good.
prayers going out, now and later this week.
hang in there and keep us posted when possible, OK ;)

Last November I had a pacemaker installed due to a genetic heart defect, that had all chambers of heart beating at different rates with a BP of 42/35. I remember being wheeled out of surgery and feeling better then. Now, 5 months later I do feel even better and stronger.
