Dreaming!
« on: April 04, 2014, 12:26:19 pm »
For fun I have fantasies about winning the lottery.  Last night as I drifted into Lala land, I thought "What saw would I buy?".  What saw would you buy?
I'm heading out to buy tickets now. ::)

Excalibur which I have one already, but if won lottery I would buy the biggest EX they had, maybe or just a grand supply of wood and patterns instead of another saw.

I would definately stick with another Excalibur - great saws.

Ten thousand comedians out of work and you guys try to be funny ??

IF I won the lottery, I would hire someone to scroll for me, as I sat there with a beverage of choice and critiqued the heck out of the way the person was doing it!

Bit of a waste of money Marg. I'm sure you and Terry could cobble up one between you in the garage. It would be the fanciest coffin anyone has ever seen.

Hi lennywin:
Good question
I would look more into how big of a workshop do I want to put my new Ex-C saw
It would be great but for now, I like most people,..........dreaming
This would make me the proud owner of of a new Ex-C and my current saw would be
my ex-scroll saw which is not an Ex-C.............ah, you know what I mean!!!

I think I would buy one of those laser burners and use it to burn the pattern onto the blank for scrolling. No more spray glue & packing tape for me.  :)

I would get the EX 21 and I would be like EIEIO  and get a laser burner. Next , one of those things you talk into and it types for you, my two fingers get tired. Then a fancy dun buggy, always wanted one.

Marg

could be my reaction..... I don't do lottery, so will be very surprised if I would won one.... :D ;D :D

Guess I would buy the Hegner 22" Multicut Quick, or maybe the Excalibur 30"CE.

But my first investment would be a Hegner Belt sander TBS 500, a Hegner HSM 300 disk sander and a A-brand planer.

... and I keep dreaming ;)

Oh Roy, I could just see Terry in the garage making me a coffin so that he didn't have to waste of much of his winnings.  Thanks for the laugh  Besides I told Terry he has to go first BUT the is a very long story, I will tell you one day. ;) :D :D :D
