The teeth look to me either floating or not much there to support them and look like they would break easy, might have to bridge them in more, but good looking pattern.

Nice pattern! I did a pattern fill and found floaters in the eyes and in and around her hair- that can be taken care by adding bridges, no big deal . keep practicing.

Barry - here's another view to look over. This concentrates on just the face - it works pretty well when you have a girl with flowing hair. After the process, delete a lot of the internals of the hair to get a lighter color look. Kids like to see their name, so I use a big (I think it was 80 point) Scroll Beach Italic font.

Thanks Ray. I had nothing but trouble with that big toothy grin. Any of the other three attempts made her look like she was wearing braces.  I realized my mistake with the font after I started cutting it and am now trying to work aroung it. Maybe with a much larger font I can "engulf" the smaller one. Cheers, Barry.

You might try to inlay a section where your original font is, then cut her name into the inlay. This is not hard with the scroll saw and can make a nice effect if a contrasting wood is used.
