Do you mean compared to Steve's pattern? I like to round the corners of a box myself, but Steve used fancier wood. This is the 1st box I made early last year (without the card holder on top). Today I would not use the heart grain for the rings - I prefer the look of straight grain on the box end - but this was a mod for a quick need (which was cancelled today anyway because of snow).
You need to watch for reversing the top - it can get stuck if put on backwards (easy to force closed but hard as heck to open). On some of these boxes, in the cut between the inner and outer rings, I made one corner square and the other 3 rounded. That way the top can only be put on one way.
