To ALL who have to work so hard this weekend a big heartfelt Thank You!
Working in and cleaning the shop/garage today (Sat.).
Tomorrow I fire up the big smoker and do pork steaks, couple chickens, a dozen or so brats, 18 chicken thighs and roast some corn. Couple friends come over for dinner and then we go to the local pyrotechnic Display on the riverfront.
Most of the smoked meat gets immediately wrapped in foil for use on the days when it is just too darn hot to cook.
Hope EVERYONE who celebrates does so RESPONSIBLY and makes the day easier for those who have to protect us from ourselves!
