Giraffe letters
« on: December 14, 2013, 12:07:08 pm »
I know i don't post much  :( but I do read most all the posts here
I just got done cutting the little  6" bears with my nephews letters and I was wondering if anybody could do a letter pattern like that with a simple giraffe shape.
These are going on the kids doors to there new rooms.
 Thanks in advance

Sorry, i was looking for individual letter like the bears.
the letters I am looking for are GRACIE
I tried to do them myself but alas, I am not really computer savy and I don't have the programs to do these in 6".
I cut well but terrible at making patterns.

Sorry but I'm not sure I know what you're looking for. Can you post a picture of the bear version, or a link to the pattern (or the posting in this forum) that you're working from? Was the overall name in the shape of a bear?

Is this the Steve Good original? http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/2013/04/teddy-bear-letters.html

Yes that is the pattern I cut with the teddy bears.
I am begining to think that the giraffe might not work, might be hard to line up.
My other option is to do a princess crown with the letters about 2" cut out of a crown something like this.

Sorry - I got called away for a medical emergency - my niece was pushing the trash down and landed on a broken tree ornament. No stitches but plenty of gush.

Anyway, see if this will do for a start. I also attached a giraffe pattern as a starting point if that's still of interest.

thank you, the crown is the one at this late time.
I am such a procrastinater (?).
I will try to enlarge it a bit and it will be great.
Again many thanks.

Sure. It should print about 10" wide but expand it as much as you like.
