hi all, just became a member of blogs today, will be here often, just bought a dremel scroll saw, haven't done much yet but have always loved woodworking love steve's patterns and have tried a couple, having a hard time deciding blade tension???

Blade tension takes trail and error. It took me a while to figure it out. I add some tension and take a pencil and push against the blade. It should give about 1/8 ". Then I take a scape piece and test. If the blade tends to wonder add a little more tension. Too tight will break blades. After you have done it awhile it will become easy.
